I’ve always had the urge to create. I got into sewing after seeing someone wear a one-of-a-kind, custom-made outfit—it sparked something in me. Not long after, my fiancé’s great aunt gifted me her old sewing machine, and I started teaching myself how to use it. What began as a hobby quickly turned into a passion for designing unique, one-of-one clothing pieces.

People kept asking, “Where can I get one?” So I created this website to make my work available to everyone.

As I kept pushing myself to learn and grow, I began apprenticing at Bahama Upholstery, where I’ve had the opportunity to learn from a shop with over 35 years of experience. Every day I take on new projects, building my skills and gaining hands-on experience in both commercial and custom upholstery.

While thrifting for special fabrics, my fiancé and I also began collecting vintage clothing. Our curated collection is always growing, with something for every style and era.

Where did the name New Experience Company come from? While searching for a name, I stumbled across an old newspaper article about my great-grandmother. In the early ’90s, she started her own handcrafted baby gifts and called it “New Experience.” She wanted to bring new experiences to babies—and now, I carry on her spirit by giving new life and new experiences to vintage fabric, clothing, and furniture.
